03/01/08: Today I am going to start posting posting two things on the front page of my blog; one, a quote, and two, a “flip your thinking”.  This is for me mostly to remember and for those of you who might find it useful.

Ok, here I go!  I’ve started a new blog and I have no clue how these work.  I’ve posted on them but I have never operated one before.  I hope it isn’t like driving a stick shift, because I still won’t operate a car with one.  Never did like driving them.  Oh well, here’s to having fun and making new friends.

 I have to share this picture with you all.  Last night my youngest, 5, and I were sitting down and coloring.  My husband starts to sing the “One eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater” song.  So, she asks, “Daddy, what’s that?”  He says, it’s a purple monster that eats people and they made a song about him.  She says monster’s aren’t real.  Well, I asked her if she wanted me to show her what it might look like and she said, “yes”.  So this is what I came up with.  She thought it was so cool that we decided to scan it and save it so we could share it with family!!
